Role Overview
As Lead Product Manager, you will contribute to the mobile consumer product strategy and take ownership of the release process from development to the adoption of new features. This role requires hands-on involvement in experimenting, executing product releases, and managing communication, including emails and notifications that reach app users. You’ll be focused on ensuring users adopt new features seamlessly. You’ll also work closely with cross-functional teams to execute a roadmap that enhances user engagement and drives scalability. The role will require exceptional execution and delivery skills, not just high-level strategy, making it critical to balance vision with hands-on work.
In this very hands-on role, you will frequently engage in "jam sessions" with the founders to discuss product vision, strategy, and competition, and you will play a key part in aligning the product roadmap with the company’s goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to product strategy for mobile consumer experiences, prioritizing clarity and reducing ambiguity where necessary, while maintaining flexibility for future pivots.
- Own the entire release process, including experimentation, feature roll-outs, and ensuring user adoption through communication channels like emails and notifications.
- Lead the creation of clear, executable roadmaps that solve user problems and align with the company’s long-term vision.
- Collaborate with engineering, product operations, data analysts, UX writers, UX researchers, and designers to drive innovation and execute product initiatives that exceed expectations.
- Participate in regular discussions with founders, shaping the product vision, strategy, and competitive positioning.
- Bring clarity and focus to product management processes while being adaptable to changes as the business evolves.
- Use data, experimentation, and user research to drive product decisions and improve adoption and engagement.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of product management experience with consumer-facing products, emphasizing mobile-first platforms.
- Proven ability to execute and deliver within complex environments with multiple systems or integrations.
- Ability to articulate product vision for solving user challenges, develop roadmaps, secure buy-in, and execute plans that surpass expectations.
- Collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills to work effectively across teams, especially with engineering, design, and operations.
- Scrappy and goal-oriented, able to adapt and persist through challenges, while motivating cross-functional teams.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with AI-powered solutions, AI-driven platforms or conversational AI
- Experience in healthcare or wellness platforms.
- Familiarity with human-in-the-loop experiences and user-centered design.
